Fabulous Fungi Workshop

Without fungi, many of the plants we love could not exist and nutrients from plant materials would not be efficiently recycled. Speakers include Dr Tom May, a senior mycologist, Dr Noushka Reiter, an orchid conservationist & botanist, Geoff Lay from the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria, lichen expert Dr Simone Louhwoff, & the Friends John Thompson.

Topics: an overview of fungi, orchid-fungi relationships, fungi of Victoria, lichens and a cultural history of fungi, plus Q&A and a walk around the Cranbourne bushland.
