$10 – $20

Friends of Burnley Gardens is hosting a free talk by Betsy-Sue Clarke, the director of Dirtscape Dreaming.

The talk is called Designing gardens to support emotional healing.

The garden as a place to soothe oneself is a concept embraced through history. In this presentation Betsy-Sue will share her work, giving understanding to why we respond to different types of environments and how harnessing that knowledge guides her design of gardens for emotional healing.

Betsy-Sue Clarke is the director of Dirtscape Dreaming, known for ground breaking work in gardens for emotional healing. Her passion for connecting people with nature and its nurturing and healing capacities has led her in many directions in her professional career.
