Treecycle
12 August 2016 - 20 August 2016
FreeTreecycle will celebrate the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney bicentenary in a unique way. It is an inaugural exhibition focused on works-of-art crafted by skilled makers of wood from trees that stood tall in the Gardens.
Enjoy an amazing exhibition of wooden furniture, musical instruments, toys, jewellery, bowls, sculpture and more. Understand the providence of the trees and learn more from the artisans whose skills have transformed the wood into these exquisite items.
All items are for sale with proceeds going to the makers and to assisting Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens in supporting horticulture, conservation, scientific research and educations programs within Your Botanic Gardens.
This exhibition is curated by Leon and Ginny Sadubin.
