28 spectacular gardens showcasing the work of some of Melbourne's most acclaimed garden designers. An added feature this year is 8 large scale gardens open to the public - 4 on the Mornington Peninsula open both Saturday and Sunday plus another 4, in the Euroa area, which will be open on the Sunday only.

Garden DesignFest Melbourne will feature twenty eight spectacular gardens showcasing the work of twenty two of Melbourne’s most acclaimed garden designers.  As an added feature this year we have eight large scale gardens open to the public – four on the Mornington Peninsula open both Saturday and Sunday plus another four, in the Euroa area which will be open on the Sunday only.

Once again designers and their staff will be on hand at their respective gardens to chat to the public and to discuss their design needs and obtain all the relevant information needed to create or improve their own gardens.

The Patron of this festival is John Patrick, the well known media identity.  Mr Patrick confirmed that 100% of the net proceeds will go to the charities selected by Rotary as listed on the Garden DesignFest website.  As the proud organisers of this event the Rotary Club of Kew in conjunction with the Rotary Clubs of Brighton North and Central Melbourne Sunrise aims to firstly, raise much needed funds for its selected charities; and secondly, to encourage creative, bold, innovative, versatile, practical and responsible gardening in our Australian gardens.

We are deeply indebted to the generous owners of the gardens and their designers without whom we would not be able to stage this event.
